Hello, I am trying to install a display manager on a virtualized arch linux install with a 2070m being passed though to it. when I startx with no xorg.conf or set xorg.conf to use the modesetting driver, Everything works great but at low performance since modesetting does not utilize my GPU.

This is on FreeBSD 11.2, using an AMD Radeon RX580 with the amdgpu driver and drm-next-kmod. I have no problems with this GPU running Xorg and OpenGL programs. But OpenCL is kind of broken, or works only partially.

I have a good hybrid graphics setup out of the box with a ryzen CPU and an Nvidia GPU on my laptop, I can use prime-run to run applications on the GPU, and thats all well and good, but Xorg by default starts on the GPU which uses a lot of power, and it being a laptop, I get little more than 3 hours on a single charge.
